How to Create a Sweet and Crunchy Crispy Corn Snack

 


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 1/4 cup of chopped nuts (almonds or walnuts)
  • 1/4 cup of shredded coconut (unsweetened)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (optional for a kick)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Large skillet
  • Spatula
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons

Instructions:

  • Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the corn kernels to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until they start to pop and turn golden brown.
  • Drizzle the maple syrup over the corn and stir well to coat evenly.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon, sea salt, and cayenne pepper (if using) over the corn and mix thoroughly.
  • Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the corn is crispy and caramelized.
