Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta
This garlic butter shrimp pasta is a restaurant-quality dish that you can make at home in under 30 minutes. It's rich, flavorful, and sure to impress your family and friends.
Ingredients:
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup white wine (optional)
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add white wine (if using) and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cooked spaghetti and shrimp to the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the sauce.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
